Executive Director, Whitney Williams
Since 2016, Whitney Williams has been a vital community partner for My Town Miracles through her ministry work with youth and service as a MTM Board Member. Whitney’s heart for Kingdom work and compassion for children were why The My Town Miracles Board of Directors were enthusiastic to welcome her as the new Executive Director of My Town Miracles on September 1, 2022.

Whitney grew up in Germantown, TN and received a Master’s Degree in Teacher Education with a BA in Psychology and Minor in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. As a community outreach professional and former teacher, Whitney is passionate about Memphis and providing youth in our city access and exposure to opportunities beyond neighborhood boundaries.

Whitney served as The Operations + Development Director for UrbanArt Commission where she supported artists and residents shaping Memphis' public art collection throughout 2021 and 2022. Before her time at UAC, Whitney spent six years in the Orange Mound community with RedZone Ministries walking alongside 9- to 18-year-old youth as they navigated critical life decisions. Whitney has also served as an art teacher at Madonna Learning Center and a fourth grade teacher at Highland Oaks Elementary School.
When she is not hanging around town with her former RedZone crew, family or 2 pups, Whitney can be found hosting friends on her front porch.
