As we prepare for fall weather, we are in desperate need of more donations so our friends who are living through a transition or even on the streets are covered in dignity and warmth.

• Household basics: mattresses (clean), labeled bedding, towels, kitchenware, lamps, furniture
• Baby essentials: cribs, strollers, car seats (not expired), diapers, wipes
• Gift cards: Kroger, Walmart, Uber, gas stations

🚫 We CANNOT accept:
• Broken, ripped, or stained items
• Oversized furniture, rugs, or wall art
• Anything two people can’t carry

✨ Tonight kicks off the @lpmemphis Stock Exchange — the incredible fundraiser that made our Transit Van dream a reality! ✨

In December ’24, @mytown_miracles received a $30,000 grant from Les Passees, Inc. and secured our Ram ProMaster 2500 Van 🚐.
Since March, this van has been on the move across Memphis — and will continue to:

🛏️ Deliver gently used furniture, mattresses, and household items
🍼 Transport baby equipment for the Bringing Home Baby initiative
🦃 Distribute food during Thanksgiving and seasonal outreach
🎄 Deliver Christmas gifts to hundreds of families
❣️ Provide Valentine Care Bags to refugee children
👕 Collect and distribute clothing for local partners
📦 Move tables and supplies for monthly food drives
👥 Support more than a dozen Memphis-based partner organizations

✨ Bringing Home Baby | The Work ✨
Before the doors opened at our 3rd Annual Bringing Home Baby Community Baby Shower, Our Town went to work.

For months, volunteers helped us prepare for this day. Some drove across the city to gather donations. Others spent hours at the warehouse sorting items, checking for stains, packing diapers, and labeling crib parts with care.

Students on summer break — from elementary through high school — showed up to serve.
CMDS stored every Amazon Wishlist delivery. Les Passees collected gently used essentials and items. Simmons Bank Branches hosted diaper drives. Memphis Football packed the trucks. VML Performance Marketing helped stage the gym. Hope Church hand-placed every item with care.

To every donor who gave to My Town Miracles instead of saving or selling — thank you. Your generosity became someone else’s answered prayer.

To every volunteer who gave their time, strength, and heart, thank you.

On Saturday, July 19th, My Town Miracles and Red Door Urban Missions welcomed 93 parents and 108 babies to the most joy-filled celebration: our 3rd Annual Bringing Home Baby Community Baby Shower.

After guests were treated to an amazing lunch, the celebration continued as families made their way to the second basketball court — a space transformed by months of generosity, thoughtful sorting, and the helping hands of so many.

Every parent was paired with a volunteer ready to serve. With arms full of diapers, baby clothes, bottles, blankets, and even cribs and car seats, families selected what they needed most with dignity and joy.

As cars were weighed down with essentials, you could feel the weight of worry lifting.

Our faithful MTM volunteers, accompanied by groups from VML, Les Passees, Memphis Football, Hope Church, CMDS, Love Memorial Baptist Church, and Brown MB Church, made gift distribution seamless.
STREETS Ministries offered their space with open arms, and in-kind support came from Chick-fil-A MidSouth, Hicks Convention, Sunbelt Rentals, and Germantown Church Diaper Ministry.

One mama told us,
“This helped me in more ways than I can count. To go from having nothing to being almost ready for my baby girl is the best feeling any mother could ask for.”

On Saturday, July 19th, My Town Miracles and Red Door Urban Missions welcomed 93 parents and 108 babies to the most joy-filled celebration: our 3rd Annual Bringing Home Baby Community Baby Shower.

Guests were greeted at the door with custom boutonnieres crafted by @themanewildling and @ehblooms. Smiles lit up the gym as families checked in and met vendors offering services, products, and support.

For families who brought children, Love Memorial Baptist’s youth group from Goldsboro, NC jumped right in with crafts and play so parents could fully enjoy their day. Charlie, a student from @cmdsmemphis, even sent a full puppet-making station to spark creativity and fun.

As the music turned up thanks to DJ SMOOVV, @nse.studio_ invited families to take portraits in front of her stunning photo backdrop. Then came the games — baby trivia, lullaby guessing, and lots of laughter — with prizes from @chickfilamidsouth and more.

@fullviewbaptist’s Men’s Ministry grilled up plates of delicious chicken, mac-n-cheese, green beans, and Famous Amos cookies to fuel the fun. The joy in the room was undeniable as volunteers from @mytown_miracles, @hope4memphis and @brownbaptist’s Pivot Young Adults ensured every parent felt seen, loved, and served.
Full hearts and full bellies.
